Owen, Winsted, Conn.) in a walnut case, c1885. (3) F. Kroeber Clock Co., 6 Cortlandt Street, New York, "Wasp" shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day, time and strike movement in a walnut case, c1884.
CONDITION: (1) The case has been refinished. The paper dial shows wear. The hands are original. The door glass appears to be original; (2) The case retains its original finish, worn base in several areas. The paper dial has a finish coat. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The door glass is original. (3) The case itself is in good condition but has lost most of its finish. The original paper dial shows discoloration. The hands are original. The red and gold door stencil is original.
